The first Manufacturing operation the group acquired in 2001, A-Metal offers a unique line of standard and customized masonry fixing systems, ceiling systems and fasteners. A-Metal is an established supplier with a global points of sales. Since 2015, A-Metal’s opened a second ISO-certified production plant and expanded its production range.

One of the Group’s oldest and largest manufacturing facility Metal Artwork is responsible for the design and production of large metal structures, custom-made metal and brass finishes, specialized doors, and safes. Services cover design, production, and installation for large projects. The plant manufactures all types of cast iron and copper items including sanitary covers, pipes, connectors and sanitary fittings. Metal Artwork is an ISO-certified plant committed to top performance and industry best practices and is equipped with state of the art machinery.

Since 2013 Roots Group UK invested capital for a stake in IS Middle East and North African (IS MENA) operations of IS International.

DISTRIBUTION
SOMECO International joined the Roots Group of subsidiaries in 2006 to supply the market in Lebanon and neighboring countries with best-in-class construction machinery and building material brands. In over a decade, our range of products has expanded to include most RGA strategic brands and serving a growing number of clients in sectors ranging from building and road construction, to manufacturing and warehousing, excavation and agricultural farming.

DISTRIBUTION
Gulf Depot is the Group’s retail chain business developed around the needs of medium and small contractors and independent consumers. Currently operating 25 outlets in 11 cities, with franchising opportunities across the MENA region.

Launched in 2014, Roots Jordan is part of Roots Group UK’s global network for distribution and trade of the world’s best construction equipment and building material brands. Roots Jordan has had great success since being established in the Jordanian market for construction sourcing, doubling in size and product offering in a span of 2 years.

One of the Group’s most recent endeavors started in 2014, Roots Group Nigeria Distribution operation covers the entirety of the Nigeria market as well as serving central Africa. The success of Roots Nigeria is attributed to carrying on site inventories of the Group’s top brands.
